Join us on an exciting day-trip in one of Senja’s most spectacular fjords.
Bergsfjord is rich in cultural heritage and has an ideal archipelago with many seabirds and seals.
After the fjord cruise in Bergsfjord, we head out into the open sea in the direction of Holmenvær and Ørja – the biggest and most important fishing village in Troms about 100 years ago. We can feel the buzzing from the time when the little group of islands was the powerful centre for fish. We enjoy lunch coffee/tea and mineral water at one of the islands in Bergsfjord and listen to the exciting stories from the area.
Alternative landings may be relevant on the day trip.

Many seabirds such as guillemots, puffins, cormorants and eagles.
If we are lucky we will spot the curious seals or small whales
Practical:
We have an approved life jacket
Check the weather forecast: warm clothing, hat, mittens / gloves may be wise to pack.
Bring camera/binoculars and a small backpack. The boat is very stable, and is a SIB - that is a rubber boat with a soft base underneath the aluminium deck. This means that it is comfortable to sit on board, and the boat is very well suited to the waters we travel in. We usually do about 20 knots with passengers. The Zodiac is 23 feet long and can carry 4 tons! The engine has 175 hp. The boat has VHF, chart plotter, radar, raft, SART and emergency beacon. Maximum number of passengers: 12 persons.
